Here's an idea - let's give an award for something before its finished. The college football season isn't over with but we are going to go ahead and give out awards for what most people consider the Most Valuable Player award. Maybe we should try this with some of the other awards. Let's try the Oscars. Let's take all the movies nominated and not allow the voters to see the last 10 minutes of any movie. How do think that would out?

I have always been an outspoken critic of power lines. Anyone who knows me, knows that I rant quite often about the urban blight created by MLGW across this fine city we live in. I am sure it is not just me. Does anyone out there really like power lines? They aren't pretty and they obstruct just about every view Memphis has to offer.

In another bit of collegiate licensing news, the Snuggie is now being made in college colors and emblazoned with college logos. The University of Memphis is no where to be found. How are we supposed to root on our fabulous Tiger football team this winter? We will all freeze without a team Snuggie to wear!

I went to the Memphis Ole-Miss game the past weekend. Brought my 8-month-old daughter. She was decked out in Memphis gear, just like the rest of the family. Our first stop before heading into the stadium was the Bank of Bartlett tent. If you don't go to this party the first home game of each Tiger football season, you are crazy - free food, free beer, and more...
