Long Hard Road To a Playoff Spot

Written by Mike Bullard
Because I don't have anything else to do, I took the past few days figuring out just what the Titans need to happen to make the playoffs. Yes, I know... The odds are slim, but I didn't realize how slim until I did some research. Right now we have Denver, Jacksonville, Baltimore, Miami, Jets, Texans and Steelers to worry about for the playoffs. Denver: No head to head matchup so any tiebreaker with them would be based on division record we have a 2-4 record, They have a 3-1. They only way we could take their playoff spot is to…

Well I didn't see that coming. Especially with the snafu before halftime which had fans wondering why their team's QB was scrambling to make a play while the clock hit 00:00. It was definitely worthy of a "C'mon Man" from Keyshawn. From the beginning it seemed like we were going to trade field goals the whole game until CJ broke a long run for a TD to start the second half. In case you missed it, he was giving the double bird salute to the Bills during the game yesterday. That must have felt good. Now that the Titans have three wins in a row it seems as if this team is firing on all cylinders. The Offense is clicking, the defense is getting pressure on the QB and the DBs are getting interceptions. Even Special Teams play has elevated…
